Christmas is my all time favorite season... not because of getting the gifts so much as giving them. It is fun to make other people happy and let them know they are loved. I have so much fun picking out a gift i know they will love and watching them open it on Christmas day. Granted my savings account doesn't love it as much as i do, but hey money is money. If it is one thing we can learn from the movie The Christmas Carol, our worldly possessions aren't as important as the people in our lives. Bless us all everyone! I am thankful to live in a country where we are free to celebrate our beliefs openly. My Savior, Jesus Christ, is an inspiration in my life and i strive to live in his footsteps and think of others. I know he lives and loves me, the Book of Mormon is true inspiration for our times, and that families can be together forever - in this life and the next. I love my Savior, my family, and my friends. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

ugh school
I am so sick of school right now :( I think the idea of paying rediculous amounts of money for teachers to make your life completely stressful is such a backwards idea. It always seems that you can try and try to get a good grade only to be disappointed because there are genius kids in your class that have no life what so ever and must study 24x7. In my mind there is no other way they could be getting such good grades except to be a college hermit. I study for a test on an average of at least 8 hours and my scores are so frustrating. I'm ready to scream. I have never loved sleep so much in my life. I can't seem to get enough - or enough time to sleep. The words of Peter Pan are beginning to be my motto: "I want to always be a little kid and have fun". That's it, I'm moving to Canada. Quit the job, sell the car, leave all my worries behind. Sounds good to me - wanna come?

A little about my man
I just wanted to write a little about my cute fiance. We recently got engaged on September 24 and are looking forward to getting married in March of 2011. He is one of the nicest, funiest, and most caring guys i know. I love that i can be 100% me around him. One of the first things that i loved about him was his sense of humor, it reminded me of my dad and uncles, and made for a very fun first date. I also love his smile and cute dimples - they get me every time! We help each other learn and grow in the gospel and other aspects of life, and are currently loving our marriage prep class. I am excited to learn, love, and grow old with my guy.

memories
Fall is one of my favorite seasons! I love the leaves changing colors, the "layering" weather, the smell of autumn air, and the exciting seasons just aroung the corner. Every september for my mom and brothers' birthday (they share a birthday) we go up to the Alpine Slide in park city. I have such fun memories of racing my dad down the slide, catching air on the dips, and trying to avoid the animals that scurry across the tracks. I am so lucky to have such a fun, wonderful family and memories that we created together.
Another fun memorie i have of autumn weather is my mom's yummy chicken noodle soup! It is so wonderful on a cold day... particulalrly halloween after a long night of walking around trick or treating in the cold.
Althought i am sad to see summer leaving so fast, i am excited for fall and all the wonderful memories we have and will get to create! Happy fall everyone

A picture is worth a thousand words... my bro and having fun camera time - priceless!
I was looking through old pictures of my bro and i, man he sure is a stud muffin. I love him!
Is it possible to have too much fun with a camera???
one step at a time
After religiously following blogs from my favorite cousins, i have decided life is too short not to join in on the fun. I'm not experiencing exciting adventures all over the country, raising a family, or vacationing to the Caribbean but not to worry - college life can be pretty fun too! Thanks to all who inspired me to start on the blogging adventure... i hope you enjoy! Welcome to my life - one step at a time.
