Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to the best Mom and Brother anyone could ask for!!! I can't believe another birthday has come so fast. To celebrate i want to spotlight each one of them.

Mom

My mom is amazing. She is a strong woman rooted in the gospel and her family. Cancer survivor, roller coaster rider, traveler, snorkeler, BEST cook ever, my hero, my example, and most importantly - my friend. Here is to another great year Mom! I love you!!

My Bro

Sam is turning 18!!! I can't believe how old he is! I still remember that little chubby cheeked two year old dancing to Michael Jackson with his lion and saying "I wanna go to dis-ney-land". It makes me sad to see him grow up because he is my little brother. Sam is an amazing baseball pitcher, cookie maker, game player, joke teller, ski bum, travel buddy, friend, and priesthood holder. I am so proud of him and every choice he has made in life. You are a handsome guy Sam, i love you so much!

My New Philosophy

This says it all. I am so ready to graduate. It is going to be such an exciting time! I have looked forward to this LAST semester since i started counting down the years in 7th grade (Mom i'm sure you can back me up on that). To think all the long nights of classes, doing homework every spare second of free time i get at work, eating cereal because i don't have time to cook, stressing over not enough time or being too tired to study, and not having a social life will soon come to an end. I am looking forward to the yoga sessions, long walks, vacations, family time with my boys, and not having a "to-do" list. Here's to all those in school- keep calm and just graduate!

We went to Dugway Geode Beds and camped for a night. We had so much fun!

 This last weekend i painted my chair! I needed a good craft project.

We have been having a great summer. I love my little family. I am thankful for our life and the opportunity we have to grow closer each day.

My Mom

In light of mothers day i thought i'd write a little something about how grateful i am for my mom. She is my best girl friend! I absolutely love being with her. She has the power to make a horrible day go away, to make me smile and encourage me in my goals.  She has so much strength and determination and is an example to me every day. She taught me how to be strong in the gospel, say my prayers, learn from my mistakes, and to love. I am who i am today because of the love and support from my parents. I truly have been born of goodly parents and i love them so much! Happy mothers day mom, you are my hero!
